Nomé Izakaya is a Japanese Tapas restaurant and lounge. They serve up sashimi delicacies and other small Japanese fusion dishes such as fried Tiger Shrimp, Bulgogi Tacos, and the Nome Fried Chicken (NFC). During the summer, they also have a buck-a-shuck oyster bar.
The restaurant also has a second floor seating capacity as well as a second floor rooftop patio, perfect for those summer nights. As for drinks, you can get your favourite Japanese beer here such as Asahi and Sapporo. They also have Asian themed cocktails such as the Sumo Sour, Hong Kong Dragon, and the Deluxe Bloody Mai - I will leave it to you to figure out what those are!
Nome Izakaya is located on the west side of Yonge, just south of Elmhurst Ave. SkipTheDishes and UberEats is available. I would recommend calling in to make a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night because it sure gets busy!
